At Brazos Valley Urgent Care we treat a variety of injuries and illnesses. We are here during extended hours to better serve the healthcare needs of the Brazos Valley. There is no appointment necessary. Walk-ins are welcome.  The following is a partial list of the signs and symptoms we treat:

Pediatric Visits

The staff here at Brazos Valley Urgent Care is kind, caring, and family oriented. The next generation is very important to us. We strive to assist the parents of the Brazos Valley in keeping their children healthy.

Starting at 2 months old, Brazos Valley Urgent Care will treat most childhood illnesses and diseases. With extended hours, we can accommodate a parent’s busy schedule. Let us help you keep your child in good health.

In-House Procedures

At Brazos Valley Urgent Care, we are able to perform a number of minor procedures in-house. If you need immediate attention that is not life threatening, we will be happy to serve you. Below is a list of some of the common procedures we offer:

In-House Procedures:

  • Laceration Repair
  • Incision and Drainage of an Abscess
  • Toenail Removal
  • Foreign Object Removal (ear, nose, simple eye)
  • Casts
  • TB Skin Test and Reading
  • Wound Care
  • Digital X-ray and Splinting

In-Office X-rays and Lab Work

For your convenience, Brazos Valley Urgent Care offers the ability to run standard lab work in our office. In most cases, results will be available before you leave. Otherwise, we will contact you with the results of your labs as soon as we receive them.

We also provide digital X-ray Services. Within a matter of seconds, our equipment produces images that can be interpreted by our healthcare providers. If needed, the images can be saved and given to your private physician or specialist.

Flu & Meningitis Vaccines

Let Brazos Valley Urgent Care help you get back to school and stay healthy during flu season. Vaccines can improve the body’s ability to fight off disease.  Routine vaccinations are often the first line of defense in maintaining long-term health.

Vaccinations offered at BVUC are:

  • Influenza (Available during Flu Season)
  • Meningitis (Only available M-F from 9:00a-4:30p)
  • Tetanus (Td)

Physicals

At Brazos Valley Urgent Care, certain physicals are performed on a walk-in basis. Please remember to bring the appropriate physical forms if you are seeking to fulfill a requirement with a school or other organization. Additional lab work is available as indicated by individual forms. The following is a list of the physicals we provide:

Workplace Injury

Brazos Valley Urgent Care’s goal is to have injured employees return to work as quickly as possible. We work closely with the employer and insurance companies to reach that goal.

If you or your employee is injured on the job, we are here to help! There is no appointment necessary at the urgent care and we will treat a variety of minor injuries in house.

Note that injury must be seen within 24 hours, and we need first report of injury and insurance information from employer.

At BVUC, we also offer an in-house 12 Panel Urine Drug Screen
